Birding with a 400 2.8

I woke up this morning at 5 am, to take advantage of a 400 2.8 that I have on loan today ( thanks Adam) and went to the Aoldridge Creek greenway to photograph Blue Heron. So, I start off the day and it is still pretty dark, the first animal i see is a small rabbit.

After that i see a Blue Heron, and as soon as i lift the camera it flies away….. so i continue on and shoot other song birds as i see them…
